Wake up to a good morning, have your breakfast and get ready for a drive to Taluka and from there you will trek to Chilurgad.

The route is similar to what you had come from. It's quite ascendant and scenic in nature. Not being a very long drive, it won't take much of a time to reach Taluka.

Taluka is a small village with a few communities. Once you reach Taluka, we will start the trek. The trail starts right from a forest house and enters directly into a dense forest. The starting of the trek is quite easy and will be more like a comfortable walk.

Just after a few minutes, you will cross a wooden bridge, which means you have crossed the first mark of the route. Get excited! You are doing super good.

While you are walking, you will see how astonishingly green is the entire area. There will be a vast valley opening to massive verdant meadows. After 15 more minutes, you will cross another wooden bridge. Here you can have a short break if you want and refill your bottles in case they are empty.

As you walk ahead you will be entering the landslide-prone area. This area is particularly considered as dangerous due to heavy flow of Thamsa river. But of course, the river also makes it exceedingly beautiful.

Few more meters into the trek you reach Osla village, which is famous for the Someshwar Devta temple (an avatar of Lord Shiva). Take some rest here and start again.

From there the trail ascends over the confluence of Thamasa and Ruinsara rivers to a vantage with a view of snow capped mountains of Dhauladhar range. This is an extremely beautiful point for you to witness the magic of nature. You can actually clearly spot the confluence too!

Once you have reached the Chilurgad site, give yourself a pat and relax. Today’s day is done and you have done a good job. Isn't the trek so thrilling? Eat your steaming dinner and sleep a good night.
