About Spanish Dance: Sevillanas Flamenco
Join us on Saturdays (2pm) to learn and have fun with the vibrant Spanish Dance - the Sevillanas. A festive dance popularly danced in Sevilla, southern Spanish city, it can also be danced with or without castanets.
What is the Sevillanas great for? Great for learning body awareness and posture. You'll be working on coordination of arms, fingers, feet and body, building rhythm and working on movement phrases.
SUITABLE FOR:
Beginners to Spanish Dance, but who already have some other dance, sport or movement background, can integrate into classes ANY Saturday. (For those who may not have that background, we recommend you try the Saturday 1pm Pure Beginner session instead)
Those keen on exploring Spanish culture (the Sevillanas songs are much about Spanish culture)

Classes are taught by Tania, Rose Borromeo SPANISH DANCE COMPANY.

Right opposite Tanglin Mall. Lots of cafes to chill around before or after classes!
REGISTATION
$30/h for a trial/single session
$100 for a Dance Card of 4 sessions (valid over 5 weeks)
$200 for a Dance Card of 8 sessions (valid over 12 weeks, + one free class)

7.00-8.30pm (1.5h) Classical Spanish Dance / Elementary
Classes work in Classical Spanish technique, castanets and a choreography based on 'Legend of the Kiss'

3.00-4.00pm (1h) Castanets Technique / All levels

We are located in two locations: the vibrant Bugis cultural, lifestyle shopping district & Orchard area.

By MRT: You can get here via Bugis MRT station (Green & Blue line), and our studio is just 3 mins from the MRT exit!
By bus: There are many buses to North Bridge Road or Victoria St (stop at Bugis Junction mall ;)

FEES
4 classes x (1h): Dance Card of $100 (valid for 5 weeks)
4 classes x (1.5h): Dance Card of $150 (valid for 5 weeks)
8 classes x (1h): Dance Card of $200 (valid for 12 weeks), with 1 free class.
8 classes x (1.5h): Dance Card of $300 (valid for 12 weeks) with 1 free class.
Single classes and Trial Classes = $30
Classes are 1 hour in duration (refer to schedule)
