Get a team together with friends, family, workmates, sports or school mates and challenge yourself at the Kokoda Challenge in Brisbane on Saturday, 2 June 2018.

In honour of the Kokoda Spirit, this 48km, 30km & 15km event winds through some of Brisbane's toughest terrain.

The track undulates through the natural green scenery west of Brisbane Forest Park. Starting at Brookfield Showgrounds, make your way up to the checkpoint at McAfee's Lookout before returning to the showgrounds via the subtropical rainforest of D'Aguilar National Park, reminiscent of the Owen Stanley Ranges in Papua New Guinea.

The distance coupled with wide open fire trails makes this the perfect event for beginners or runners having a hit out. Teams of 2, 3 or 4 must complete the course together in honour of the spirit forged on the Kokoda Track in 1942: courage, endurance, mateship and sacrifice.
