About The 13th Weald St Georges 10k

The 10km, voted, by Runners World, in the top three 10k events in the South East is a varied course, mostly on road, with around 2km of hard surfaced woodland trail.  At whatever pace you choose to complete, this course will give you a great workout.  There is plenty of variety, including long straights, sharp turns, on road and off road, a water point at 5k and...the hill at 9.5k!  The hill has become a feature of the event.  It is short and steep, and with just 500m to go to the finish, as long as you have kept some energy in reserve, you can power up it, and almost coast to the finish from the top. There is also a 2k Fun Run taking place at 10:40 am

HOW TO REACH

If you have a SAT NAV plug in TN14 6PY and that will get you to Weald.  For those who prefer directions:
From the North: come off the M25 at junction 5 and head south on the A21 toward Tonbridge and Hastings.  Keep on the A21 Sevenoaks by-pass until you get to the A225 / B245 turning to Sevenoaks and Hildenborough and S’oaks Weald - Morley’s Roundabout.  Take the 5th exit Morley Road and follow this into Weald Village.
Form the South: you will either be travelling along the A21 towards the M25 or the A225 from Tonbridge.  On the A21, south of Sevenoaks come off the A21 at the A225 sign and follow the slip round to Morley’s Roundabout.  Take the first exit onto Morley Road and follow this into Weald Village.  From the A225 travelling north you will arrive at Morley’s Roundabout.  Take the third exit onto Morley Road and follow this into Weald Village.
By Public Transport: probably best catching a train to Sevenoaks and then picking up a Taxi (about £12.00).
