Midgets, debaucherous disco dancers, skate rolling.. Studio 54 Revival: 'One Night Only' is coming to London for the most exclusive – and most inclusive – party in the Britain.
It's 41 years since Studio 54 opened in New York. It quickly became the best known nightclub in America, riding the wave of 1970s dance music and newly found personal freedom.
In 1977, arguably one of the most influential clubs in history — Studio 54 — opened its doors at 254 West 54th Street, Manhattan, to the dancing public. Catering to a wide variety of clientele, the club welcomed famous, infamous, and totally anonymous guests. It was, by all accounts, absolutely the place to be seen in the late '70s.
This year we pay tribute to 40th Anniversary of New York’s legendary Studio 54 and to an era when disco was king and fashion was glitz n’ glam. Join us as we celebrate Manhattan’s most famous club where Mick Jagger and Tina Turner sipped on stylish cocktails, and strutted their stuff under a glitter ball to the beat of original funk and uplifting 70s hits.
