Previous official race certificate of completion with cut-off timings as below:

Olympic triathlon (51.5 km): 4 hrs 30 min (men’s) and 5 hrs (women’s)

Half-distance triathlon (113 km): 8 hrs 30 min (men’s) and 9 hrs (women’s)

*Kindly note that any official completion certificate for a full distance triathlon (226 km) is valid.

*An athlete’s racing age is determined by their age on 31st December 2018

**There is no upper age limit. However, it is mandatory for those above 60 years of age to attach a medical fitness certificate during the registration process.

The registration form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the athlete  is at the sole discretion of Enduro Sports Goa and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The actual athlete alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.

Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation via email to the address provided in the registration form. Confirmed athlete’s identity and proof of age will be verified with the details provided in the registration form. Where any information and/or any document provided by a participant at any point in time prior to the race is found to be falsified, participation of the said athlete shall be withheld for a period of 14 days until a reasonable explanation for the same can be provided by the athlete. If the athlete is unable to provide a reasonable explanation within the 14 day period, the registration will be cancelled with no refund of registration fees.

Kindly note in the event of an error made by the athlete in the registration form or during the registration process, if the same is intimated via email within 24 hrs, the entire entry fee will be refunded (excluding minimum processing charges). Any intimation after 24 hrs, will incur a deduction of Rs 1000 from the total registration amount as processing charges.

Confirmation of entry to the race will be sent via email to the address provided on the registration form within 14 working days. The entry and bib number is not transferable to any other person under any circumstances.

Withdrawals:

Withdrawal requests must be received through the withdrawal form on the website during the following time frames in order to be eligible for a partial refund:

1st August – 31st October 2018             : 50% refund of the entry fee

1st November – 30th November 2018 : 25% refund of the entry fee

1st December 2018 onwards                : No refund

Refunds will be carried out via bank transfer (details to be mentioned in the withdrawal form). The refund process may take upto 14 working days.

It is mandatory for the athlete to collect his/her race kit personally during the scheduled times. In case of unavoidable circumstances, such athlete can send his/her representative to collect the bib on his/her behalf. However, Enduro Sports Goa must receive intimation of the same latest by 6 p.m. on 11th January 2019 via email only.

Authorized representative must carry with him/her:

  • Copy of athlete registration ticket
  • Email confirmation by Enduro Sports Goa approving race kit collection by authorized representative
  • Photocopy of photo-identity proof (of the representative and the confirmed athlete )

Failure to comply with the above rules for race kit collection will result in immediate disqualification.

Athletes have the option of storing their cycle over-night at the common transition area on 12th January 2019 during the scheduled timings. Organizers are not responsible for damage of the cycles due to forces of nature. Security personnel will be stationed at the transition area to guard against theft only. Once the cycles have been racked, the athletes are not allowed to remove/access them until 5 a.m. on 13th January 2019. We also strongly advise all athletes to carry a cycle lock to better secure the cycles. Any athlete found tampering with cycles or kits of another athlete will be disqualified from the event and shall not be allowed to apply or participate in subsequent editions of the event.

The registration form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the athlete  is at the sole discretion of Enduro Sports Goa and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. Organizers reserve the right to stop any athlete from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.

Every athlete is required to wear their bib and timing tag at all times during the race. Athletes found to have interchanged their bib and/or timing tag with another athlete, will result in disqualification of both athletes from the event and they shall not be allowed to apply or participate in subsequent editions of the event. Please note the bib and timing tag are not worn as instructed; the athlete will not receive an official finish time, medal and e-certificate.

Elite athlete division: Failure to complete any one segment i.e., swimming, cycling or running within the cut-off timings mentioned below results in a DNF status.

In the event that an athlete is unable to complete one of the segments of the race and wishes to continue the race without timings, they may do so after informing the nearest race official. Such an athlete will be labelled as a DNF in the official race timings.

Assistance provided by race officials/referees (including official event volunteers) is allowed but such assistance is limited to: providing drinks, nutrition, mechanical and medical assistance, and other necessary assistance (as may be approved by the race director).

Athletes competing in the same race may assist each other with incidental items such as, but not restricted to: nutrition and drinks after an aid station, pumps, tires, inner tubes, and puncture repair kits

Athletes may not provide any item of equipment to an athlete competing in the same race if it results in the donor athlete being unable to continue with his/her own race. Such equipment includes but is not restricted to: shoes, complete bicycle, frame, wheels, and helmet. The penalty for this will be disqualification of both athletes.

No athlete shall accept from any person (other than those mentioned above) physical assistance in any form, including food, drink, equipment, support, pacing, a replacement cycle or cycle parts, unless an exception has been granted and approved in writing by Enduro Sports Goa. Any athlete found to receive unauthorized assistance will be time penalised. The receipt of information regarding progress, timings or location of other competitors on the race course shall not be considered the acceptance of unauthorized assistance.

Volunteers and race officials/referees are to be treated with respect and courtesy – non-compliance by the athlete towards volunteers or race officials will lead to immediate disqualification.

Organizers reserve the right to change the said course at any time, this may arise due to construction activity, security and safety reasons, non-compliance from government authorities or any other reasons the organizers deem fit.

Trash bins will be set-up at the aid/hydration stations and along the course. Bottles, wrappers etc. are to be disposed in the trash bins only and are not to be discarded on the beach or road. Enduro Sports Goa has a strict litter free policy and any athlete found littering by a race official will be time penalised.

*** Individual athlete and swim, cycle and run conduct rules as well as rule violations and penalties will be updated by 15th September 2018. Rules and regulations are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers and the race director; the same will be updated on the website and intimated via email to the athletes. ***
