About The Story Cafe` @Urban Solace
The Story Café is a monthly meet up for all those who like to listen to or tell traditional or personal stories and meet with other storytellers and story lovers. The evening will have two parts - the first hour will be an open mic for anyone who would like to tell a story. The only 2 norms – no longer than 10 minutes and the story should be told:).
Drop us an email on story@bytheriver.in or call us on 9886283739 to register and please arrive at the venue by 7.15pm.
You need not register if you would only like to listen to stories.
After a short break, we will have a new featured storyteller for the month. For the 7th edition our featured storyteller is the fantatsic Kavya Srinivasan.
The Story Café is a place to simply be and connect with the magic and power of stories month after month. You are most welcome to come and only listen as well.
The space will accommodate a maximum of 30 people – so seating is available on first come first basis. This a non ticketed community event and cash contributions at the venue are welcome; The entire proceeds will be shared between our venue partner, Urban Solace and the featured storyteller.
