Seen theatre? Felt theatre? Now take up full-fledged theatre course to understand what is involved in creating theatre productions. Learn this artistic expression form and explore newer aspects of your own personality. This is a 44 hours course which will be conducted over a period of 4-5 months. Each class is 2 hours long on Sundays at 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Ideal age category for this course is 14 years and above, however, 11-13-year-olds too can apply. All students are required to undertake orientation and theatre interest/adaptability test prior to joining the class. This can be taken up on the same day as enrolling for the classes. Outline of Theatre Basic level course at The Circular Square is as follows. The course will culminate with students staging a light production at end of the course:

- Yoga and music in the context of theatre

- Acting and drama games

- Improvisation

- Working with text

- Working with an ensemble

- Building stage confidence

- Monologues, Dialogues

- Introduction to different forms of theatre (street, intimate)

- Overview of sets, lighting & music
