About Anchetty - 200K BRM
Anchetty 200 is the Vintage trail explored by “IISc Randonneurs” in early days of Randonneuring in Bangalore. It is one of the scenic & challenging 200K BRMs of India, with overall elevation gain in the corresponding distance category. Highly rolling terrains, quite lonely traffic free roads, this route takes riders mostly through countryside passing by villages, green fields, serene forests & water bodies along the route
Starting from Konark Hotel, Kanteerva Stadium, passing through Lalbagh reach Kanakpura road, continue on Kanakapura road till Harohalli, then take left towards Maralawadi cross the Tamil Nadu border towards Thally, then passby Jawalgiri before heading south to Anchetty through green rolling hills and landscapes dotted with lakes. The route then heads back up to Denkanikottai and Attibele, joining Hosur Road and then ending the ride at Konark Hotel, Kanteerva Stadium
