Rainbow Ryders is the ONLY company authorized to give balloon rides from the 2018 Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off. Rates are $275 per person plus a $10 non-refundable booking fee. Payment is due in full at time of purchase. Admission to the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is free. Check in is at 6am daily at the Rainbow Ryders tent located south of the main stage on concession row. Cancellations are due by August 30th, 48 hours in advance. Directions to Memorial Park: Memorial Park is located east of I-25 on Pikes Peak Avenue between Hancock Ave. and Union Blvd. To get to the Park from the north, from I-25, take exit 142 – Bijou Street. Go east to Cascade Ave. Turn south (right) two blocks to Pikes Peak Ave. Go east (left) 10 blocks to Hancock Ave. If you are coming from the south, take exit 139 – Hwy 24, MLK Bypass, to the Union exit. At Union turn left and proceed to the park. Please note: There is no public parking, spectator RV parking or public overnight parking in Memorial Park during the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off, but parking is usually available in surrounding parking lots, particularly along Union Boulevard to the east of the Park. There may be a charge at some of the parking lots. Please be aware that parking on private property including some of the shopping centers, may result in your vehicle being ticketed and/or towed. The balloon launch field is located in the area where the words “Memorial Park” are printed. All parking in Memorial Park during Labor Day Weekend is by permit only except for vehicles displaying either a state-issued handicapped license plate or placard. The Handicapped parking lot is located in front of Sertich Ice Center and is accessible only from Union Blvd at the first entrance south of Pikes Peak Avenue. See the Site Map of Park for details.
