About Te Radar's Antarcticana

What we think we know about Antarctica is just the tip of the iceberg.
Following his boat ride to Antarctica, Te Radar brings you Te Radar’s Antarcticana, an illustrated comedic lecture on all things Antarctic.
It’s a hilarious look at the heroism and humour that have shaped the icy continent’s history, the odd ora and fauna and the even odder folk who explored the land that Captain Robert Scott called an “Awful Place”.
As Te Radar says, “For early explorers, it was so remote and perilous, it may as well have been the Moon, except slightly more inhospitable.”
With the aid of a visual presentation rich with photographs, maps, and film, this show proves that what we think we know about Antarctica is just the tip of the iceberg.
From the man behind award winning TV shows Te Radar's Chequered Past, Off The Radar, Homegrown and his one many show, Eating the Dog.
