Get ready for vintage ballroom dancing to a live orchestra as well as 1930s records of waltz, quickstep, tango, slow foxtrot, jive, rumba and Charleston.
The dress code is formal, black tie for men and evneing dress for women, so get your best vintage outfits ready.
There is a large dance floor and an improvers fdance class class from 6.30p,pm to 7.30pm, taught by former UK champion Raymond Root, followed by the main dance from 7.30pm.
Free tea and sparkling water is provided and you may bring your own drinks if you are discreet. The room is decorated with candlelit tables and a breath of fresh air from a wall of opening windows as well as enough space to dance in comfort, as the guest limit is 80.
There are always four or five male and female taxi dancers available for the benefit of all guests at no additional charge. Ten glamorous women will compete in a waltz competition too.
There will be vocals from the wonderful young and up and upcoming professional opera signer, Alistair Sutherland.
If you choose to, you may complete your evening with a three course set authentic Indian vegetarian meal at the same venue (The Indian YMCA) for only £9, on the ground floor of the same building, available from 7pm to 9pm.
