About Monsoon 10KRun Chembur 2018

Tridhaatu Monsoon 10KRun is the Biggest Run in Eastern Suburbs of Mumbai held annually on the first Sunday of August, since 2015.The race which attracts more than 2000 runners from various parts of the City has an AIMS Certified Route and is affiliated with Mumbai Suburban Athletic Association . This year the Tridhaatu Monsoon 10KRun will be held on 5th August 2018, at Chembur

*There will be no prizes for 5Km as it is a non competitive fun run

  • Race results announced on race day will be provisional. Final results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein.
  • Finish positions of all categories will be based on the NET time alone.
  • Bib tag timing must be captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish.
  • Physical verification will be done by technical officials and anti –cheat camera's.
  • Runners found to have interchanged their bib numbers with others, will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners will not be entitled to any prize money.
  • Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the promoter may at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from competition.
  • Foreign Nationals who are not residing in Mumbai are not eligible for Prize money.
  • Prize Money will be given 7 days after the event. Our team will get in touch with the winners for the same.
  • Your finish time will be updated on our official event website - www.monsoonrun.com within 48 hours of the race day. Timing Certificate will be available to download from the event website www.monsoonrun.com
  • Finish Timings & Timing Certificates will not be generated for a runner whose timing is not been reflected across timing points on the course and start and finish line.
  • Please note Physical Timing Certificates are not available . They can only be downloaded online from the official event website


RULES & REGULATIONS

The event is organised under the Aegis of MUMBAI SUBURBAN DISTRICT ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION and the route is measured as per AIMS Standards. This will enable you to qualify for the major races across India.

Timings will be recorded through Electronic method (Timing chip).

A participant can take part in one eligible Age Group only.

Registration will close on 30th July 2018 by 12.00 midnight OR when the maximum limit of Running Places are filled in, whichever is earlier.

BIBs will be distributed on 3rd and 4th August 2018 at Chembur Gymkhana ( Phase 2). Time 11:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Mandatory documents while collecting the BIB –
i) Application acknowledgement receipt. (soft/hard copy)
ii) Proof of age for verification along with Photocopy.
iii) Authority letter for collecting the BIB for any other participant.

Race Packs collection details will be informed on the www.monsoonrun.com website. Please keep a check.

No Participation Kit will be distributed on the event day or posted on individual address post event.

The BIB allotted to the participant is non-transferable and request for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.

Runners will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety and health issues.

We request total co-operation from runners in this regards.

The decision of the Race Organisers will be final and binding.

The event organiser reserves the right to modify the Date, Venue, Distance, Race Start time and other changes related to this event at any given point of time.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The information given by me/my ward in this entry form is true me/my ward is/am solely responsible for the accuracy of this information;

2. Have fully understood the risk and responsibility of participating in 'Tridhaatu Monsoon 10K Run' event and will be participating entirely at my/his/her risk and responsibility;

3. Understand the risk of participating on a course with vehicular traffics, even if the course may be regulated/policed;

4. Understand that I/my ward must be of, and must train to, an appropriate level of fitness to participate in such a physically demanding event and I/my ward have obtained a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner, allowing me to participate in the events;

5. For myself/ourselves and our legal representatives, waive all claim of whatsoever nature against any and all stakeholders associated with the event, such as the directors, management all political entities, authorities, official, all contractors and construction firms working on or near the course etc. Employees, agent and respective of all or any of the aforementioned including, but not limited to, any claims that might result from me/my ward participating in the event and whether on account of illness, injury, death or otherwise;

6. Agree that if I am/my ward is injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer/s any detriment whatsoever, I hereby irrevocably authorise the event official and organisers to at my/our risk and cost, transport me/my ward to a medical facility and or to administer emergency medical treatment and I/my ward waive/s all claim that might result from such transport and/ or treatment or delay or deficiency therein. I shall pay or reimburse to you my/my ward's medical and emergency expenses and I/my ward hereby authorise you to incur the same;

7. Shall provide to race official such medical data relating to me/my ward as they may request, I agree that nothing herein shall oblige the event official or organisers or any other person to incur any expense or to provide any transport or treatment;

8. In case of any illness or injury caused to me or my ward or death suffered by me or my ward due to any force majeure event including but not limited to fire, riots or other civil disturbances, earthquake, storms, typhoons or any terrorist, none of the sponsors of the event or any political entity or authorities and official or any contractor or construction firm working on or near the course or any person or entities associated with event or the directors, employee, agents or representative of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by me/my ward or my/my ward's representative;

9. Understand, agree and irrevocably permit Tridhaatu Monsoon 10K Run committee to share the information given me/my ward's in this application, with all/ any entities associated with the Tridhaatu Monsoon 10K Run, at its own discretion;

10. Understand, agree and irrevocably permit The Tridhaatu Monsoon 10K Run to use my/my ward's photograph which may be photographed on the day of the event, for the sole purpose of promoting Monsoon 10K Run, at its own discretion;

11. Understand ,agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organisers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety;

12. Understand, agree for any reason I cannot turn up on race day, no refund of any form will be given;

*Beer to be served only to runners above the legal permitted age allowed for alcohol consumption

11. Shall not hold the organisers and all/any of the event sponsors responsible for loss of My/his/her entry form and / or entry fee transit;

The event will take place on Sunday, 5th August 2018
