About Free Saturday 5K Series

Please note that due to weather, the first event in April is cancelled.

Starting in April, on the first Saturday morning of every month (with the exception of November), Run Ottawa holds a free 5K event at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. This is a great way to test your fitness over the spring, summer and fall at a family friendly event. And this year, we’ve added a free 1K for kids! Come run at your pace of choice on this scenic route that is held on the roads and pathways within the Central Experimental Farm.

These events are self timed, aided by a digital clock at the finish line. Water will be available on-site. We would like to acknowledge and thank the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum for their support of our Saturday Farm Runs. To learn more about the Museum and all their great programs, please visit their website. You can also follow them on Twitter @agmuseum Reminder: These events are free for everyone!

PARKING

Look for the signs that will direct you to the parking areas within the Central Experimental Farm.  There is no charge to park and the lots are fairly close to the registration area. For more information contact Joe Du Vall via email, operations@runottawa.ca or call 613-234-2221.
