Everyone loves to run for the Cookies! For 17 years we’ve been proud to bring you Ottawa’s Cookie Run with our good friends from Bushtukah in support of the local Girl Guides.

It’s the last major run before the big snow flies and a great way for runners of all ages and levels to wrap-up the year! There’s nothing better than getting a Girl Guide cookie as you cross the finish line!

Great shirts and medals make the day even better…..we’ll see you there!

Location: NRC Grounds, enter via Den Haag and Bathgate

Start times: 5K-10K – 10:00am 1.5K Kids Run – 11:15am

Please note: Athletes competing with Wheelchair – – This race navigates over curbs, gravel paths and sidewalks making it unsuitable for wheelchair racing. It may be suitable for recreational competitors. Please consult further with Joe Du Vall should you have any questions. operations@runottawa.ca

Please note Run Ottawa Members will receive $10 discount. Youth member $5 discount.

Online registration is now open and will close on October 30th at midnight.

10K – 5K – registration includes commemorative medal, tech shirt, post-race snacks, timing, inclusion in draw prizes!

1K Kids Run – registration includes Kids Run Ottawa collectible medal, Youth tech shirt, post-race snacks, timing, inclusion in draw prizes!

TIMING

Timing will be provided by Sportstats. Full results will be posted on the Sportstats website post-race.

RACE KIT PICK-UP

If you’d like to pick-up your bib/shirt in advance we have two opportunities for you to do so. Please note at this time there will be no on-site registration.

RACE DAY INFO

Parking: Available within the lots at Samuel-Genest and local streets. Paid parking available at La Cité Collégiale

Baggage Check: For this event there will be a race day baggage check available.

Washrooms: Comfort stations will be available at the start line.

First Aid : St. John Ambulance will be on site throughout the event.

POST RACE

Awards: Within the post-race social inside the school, awards will be provided to the following:

Top finisher prizes will be given out to the first three male and female finishers in each event. Please note overall winners are not eligible for age category prizes.

There will also be age category prizes for the first in category. (men and women)

5 km: 14 and under/ 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60-69 / 70+ / 70-79 and 80+

10 km: 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60-69 / 70 Plus

For all other participants and Run Ottawa Members there will be additional prize draws featuring Bushtukah gift cards/Zizu sunglasses/Run Ottawa Race entries and more!
