What you'll learn

These intensive workshops are a perfect introduction for anyone keen to try jewellery making using traditional silversmithing techniques. Whether you're someone who has a few hours to spare and thought you'd try something new, or you're a budding jeweler yourself, we'll make sure that by the end of the session you go away with not one, but TWO completely unique pieces of silver jewelry made entirely by you! *

Amongst other techniques, you will learn:

• How to thread and use a piercing saw to cut metal
• How to use a jewelers bench peg
• How to use a blowtorch to solder two pieces of metal together
• How to finish your designs ready for wear

If, after your class, you're inspired to continue making more of your own silver jewelry, we'll provide you with a detailed list of where you can find supplies, tools, and resources with which to get cracking!

Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

All tools and materials are provided so need to bring anything with you except a desire to get creative and have fun... By all means, bring your jewelry ideas and aspirations with you, but as the course content is quite structured, we may have to tactfully manage your expectations on arrival!
