About The Chasing of the Guard Running Tour
Join us for a 5k running tour of the Changing of the Guard. We wait for the Queen's mounted guards to emerge from their barracks at Hyde Park, then the chase begins!
We trot alongside them all the way past Buckingham Palace, then find ourselves some marching bands to chase.
This is the Changing of the Guard where you can get up close and personal with each troop as it parades from palace to square and back again!
Identify the soldiers! Listen to the music and keep away from the crowds straining to catch a glimpse of a passing bearskin!
We've got the inside track on who's where and why, and the best view of this icon of royal pageantry.
