YOGIBEE CHILDREN’S YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
5th - 7th October 2018
A spirited, child-focused and practical children’s yoga training course sharing the benefits of yoga for children and families. For pre-school and school teachers, parents, yogis, therapists and those who would like to learn tools to share yoga with young people.
Open to all levels of experience with yoga and children.
Join us to move your body, mind and spirit, and rediscover the inner child!
Developed by Siri Mukta Kaur, a yogi with over 25 years of experience with children and yoga.
Program Outline:
~ Preparing ourselves spiritually and mentally to teach yoga to children
~ Tools to stay calm and prepared while teaching
~ Practical tips to keep yourself and children focused and engaged
~ Engaging children’s innate interest in yoga
~ Developing classes for children of different ages, stages and abilities
~ Stories for young yogis to inspire a yogic mood
~ Developing theme based classes for all ages (sample lesson plans provided)
~ Partner and group yoga
~ Child and teen friendly meditation and relaxation techniques
~ Breathing techniques and games for teachers, children and teens
~ Yogi songs and activities to share with children
~ Fun and meditative yoga games/art to inspire creativity, cooperation, intuition and connection
~ Yoga for the differently abled (ADD, ADHD and Special Needs)
~ Yoga tools for the classroom
~ Incorporating yoga into family life
~ Yogic inspired food – feeding the mind, body and spirit
~ Setting up children’s yoga business/ classes
~ Teaching a demonstration class in groups
~ Sharing knowledge and networking with others

Sat 6th Oct 2018: 11am – 6pm
Sun 7th Oct 2018*: 9am – 5pm
